Yablon, like the rest of the apartment’s tenants, received notice on April 5 that he had to leave when the apartments were purchased by the Seattle-based CWD Investments LLC. Yablon, who has congestive heart failure and lives with a defibrillator implant, was unable to find another place to live and will be couch-surfing and living his car for the foreseeable future. “The ticker is getting worse. I’m going to go to bed one night and I’m not going to wake up,” Yablon said. “That’s going to be real nice when I’m sleeping in my car.”
